Before Setup
1. Install Lepro APP & create account (no remote, not compatible with Smart Life/Tuya APP)
2. Replug/redetect lights in the app when adding more strings
3. Use 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (not 5 GHz). If your phone can’t get Wi-Fi where the controller is, the lights won’t connect WiFi either
Product Specifications
APP Control (No Remote) 1. Download the “Lepro” APP (not compatible with the “Smart Life” or “Tuya” apps). 2. Register a user account (only an email address is required; no phone number needed). Connect Lights to Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz only: This allows access to all app features. You need to connect to Wi-Fi before connecting to Alexa. To ensure a successful Wi-Fi connection, please place the controller in an area with a strong Wi-Fi signal. If the controller is in a location where your phone has no Wi-Fi signal, the lights won’t be able to connect to Wi-Fi. Connect to Bluetooth You will have access to most app features (except Alexa connectivity), such as DIY, On/Off, AI Voice Prompt, and Add to Favorites. Bluetooth control distance: approximately 5m / 16.5ft. Smart Home Integration Works with Alexa and Google Assistant. (Does not support IFTTT, HomeKit, or Matter.) Please note that the phrases Alexa can recognize are limited. For example, there is no utterance for adjusting brightness and color simultaneously as per the official Alexa guide. WLED Compatible Each LED node is equipped with two built-in WS2811 ICs (one for RGB lights and the other for white lights). The commercial-grade IC design allows seamless integration with WLED software. (Note: The output voltage of the Lepro original power adapter is 29V, and the input voltage of the string lights is 24V-30V. To connect with WLED, you will need to purchase a separate 24V WLED controller and 24V power supply units.) Weatherproof Power adapter IP67, in-line controller IP65, lights strings IP65(-4℉ to 104℉, -20°C to 40°C) Package List (NO Remote) 6 strings (25ft each, 15 nodes/string, 90 nodes total), 2 extension cables (3m/10ft & 1.5m/5ft), 1 in-line controller & power adapter, 100 pcs 3M tapes (90 pre-applied + 20 extra), 90 screws & anchors Wire Length 4.5m / 14.7ft (from the adapter plug to the first light string, including the in-line controller wire length) Extension Cables 2 extension cables (1 × 3m/10ft, 1 × 1.5m/5ft). You can add it between the controller and the first light string, or between two light strings. Do not add it between the power adapter and the controller. In-line On/Off Controller It will remember the pattern you set on the app. The controllers for these 3 light sets (50ft, 100ft, 150ft) cannot be used interchangeably, as their programs are different. Each has its own maximum connection limit. Currently, it’s not possible to control two sets of lights with one controller. You can use the group function in the app for basic control over two sets (e.g., turning them on/off at the same time or setting the same color). Do Not Cut the String The current firmware version doesn’t support cutting the light string. If you cut it, the data recognition for the 15-light-per-string setup will malfunction. For example, if there are 90 lights in total and you cut 10 lights, leaving 80, the app might recognize it as 75 lights. If it recognizes only 75 lights, the last section will not light up. Extend the Length Currently, 15-light strings are not sold separately. We offer 50ft (30 lights, 24W power), 100ft (60 lights, 36W power), and 150ft (90 lights, 48W power) sets. For 50ft and 100ft sets, you can add one extra string (e.g., extend 30 lights to 45, or 60 to 75). The 150ft set cannot be extended due to signal transmission issues. Power Adapter Input: 100-240V AC, Output: 29V DC, 1.65 A. Lights working voltage: 29V DC Lights Spacing 50cm / 20 inches Upgraded 5-in-1 LED RGB+IC LED Lights and tunable white LED Lights (choose any shade of white lighting, from incandescent-like 2200K warm white light to 6500K cool white light) Brightness (Dimmable) 40 lm for Warm/Cool White Light; 20 lm for RGB Light. Dimmable with app control. Dimmable features are available on the app screens for Save, Music Sync, and AI Prompt Results. In the current version of the DIY interface, overall brightness adjustment is not available. However, since this is an RGB+IC product, you can adjust the color, brightness, and saturation for individual segments. The ability to adjust the overall brightness in the DIY interface is expected in the mid-November update.
Why did I fail to connect with the APP?
Both WiFi and Bluetooth need to be active during WiFi setup.
Confirm your WiFi operates on the 2.4 GHz band with a signal strength above -75dBm at the controller’s location. Use tools like “VREM WiFi Analyzer” to check.
Why can’t I find the device on the APP when connecting?
Try resetting the light by holding the in-line controller button for 5 seconds until the lights flash blue. Re-add the light to the app.
If issues persist, please send us the device ID (found in the app’s settings).
I ordered a set of these and one of the sections of lights did not light up.
If a complete section fails to light up, re-plug the power supply, or click Refresh Length in DIY interface of the APP. The light will re-detect the connected length (flash white light from the first string to the last string).
I ordered 2 boxes of model e1. Can I combine all light strips from both boxes to one plug in?
Different lengths require separate power supplies and controllers.
50ft (29V/0.82A, includes 2 strings connect 3 strings max)
100ft: (29V/1.24A, includes 4 strings, max 5)
150ft: (29V/1.65A, includes 6 strings, max 6)
Can you cut and splice?
The current kit does not support cutting without a splice accessory. (If you cut off the last 5 lights of a string, the signal of the first 10 lights will not be recognized).
